Marian Ball is an older upstart going full throttle into the political arena. Though she has been - by profession and higher education - a Registered Nurse for 39 years, working in hospitals, nursing homes, and home care, as well as a concert harpist for 59 years, playing in orchestras, weddings, funerals and in Judeo Christian worship settings, she desires a more comprehensive use of her multiple gifting. She loves people - and we mean all people - and going into politics, for such a time as this, will not only fulfill her professional longings but all her constituents as well. You will love her frank, funny, brilliant, endearing personality, no matter what your political persuasion is!
Marian Ball is running this year in the Pennsylvania Gubernatorial race in the Independent Party. She is a proven Public Servant, having taken care of her epileptic husband for 35 1/2 years, who had many other disabilities as well. See more on the issues below!

Prolife/Prochoice on a limited basis, and the restructuring of Planned Parenthood to emphasize more life options like Mommy-Baby foster homes, individually funding each woman who wishes to keep her child but doesn’t have the means to do so without government assistance. Women who are psychologically needy, in the cases of rape, incest, and those who are in or threatening a mental breakdown will be eligible for a government funded abortion. Any woman not under such duress who chooses to have an abortion for any reason is free to do so. However, their abortion will not be government funded.

When elected, Marian Ball will automatically take 20% of her 6 digit salary, put it into a tax incentive fund to be applied to the minimum wage increase. She will encourage her colleagues to do the same. Those not willing to apply their 20% to the funding will have it taken automatically and with a tax penalty.
